I had to step away from this for a bit...
I'll try to give it another shot pretty soon once I have another chance to inspect it

my windows computer is down at the moment...
im expecting a new mobo in about 1 week...
then i can post the pics to show what ive found with the board....

in a nutshell, it is weird how the circuit pins out properly yet it does not work at all....i really think there is some damage somewhere but i am unable to locate the exact damage yet....
ill have to test the board under power to ensure everything is working properly....i would hate to imagine that the actual MX is fried....but hopefully it is not....

I hope you could get your PC fixed!
If so, is there any new progress or Information about the chip?

the board has a lot of damage on it
there is no way to test the physical chip itself to confirm if it still works without transplanting it off this current board...but considering the condition it was in previously with a lot of pins shorted and wrong components in key locations, this chip might be dead, dead, dead
