there are various adapters to connect keyboards to the GC/Wii controller ports.
Amazon has one, but it's no longer available. ebay is probably your best bet.

You might be better off just buying a GC keyboard. I think you can find them for under $20.

in that case, you need to research how to interface the SI (Serial Interface, where the GCcontrollers connect to) with a PS2 (or USB) keyboard.

Trouble is, I'm not sure how much low level docs do exist for the SI interface on the GC/Wii...

you'll have to build that from the ground up... (might not be worth it, considering the hardware already exists...)

pretty sure there's a simple PIC solution to this that can be made at a very small cost. I'll see what I can do.
