Hi,
if anyone doesn't know yet: There are still original Game Cube controllers getting produced by Nintendo.
It's the Super Smash Bros. WiiU Game Cube controllers. They have the Smash Bros. logo on it instead of the Nintendo logo.
The cool thing is, that these controllers have a 3m cable, not 2m, like the old original controllers used to have. I just bought two of them for about 27 EUR each

Might as well mention that they are also available in white in japan.
And that there is also a GameCube controller adapter available for the Wii U and - the currently only game supporting the adapter - Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Mayflash also released a version which is compatible for with PC and Wii U per switch. There also also quite a few fake ones in different packaging.
PDP also released Controllers - the Wii U Wired Fight Pad - which need to be connected to the Wiimote. They are available in different colours who look familiar to the characters colours of Nintendo Characters like Mario.
Hori also released Wii U Fight Pad Controllers looking familiar to the original ones.
There are also Wiimote extensions for gamecube controllers available. For example one from Mayflash. They are compatible with Wii and Wii U.
Own a couple PAL and JPN cubes. And three BBAs. Homeland and PSO I/II.
