Ok! I m sure you will get a app able to make my Gc work without reading :)
My GC read the disc, (is spin and make a los of weird sounds) but... in a few secconds it stops. It "detects" the disc... and the laser activates... but... it has no "power" to read the disc. If I want to load something from the ide-exi, i need to load a app from the driver rigth? that is the reason?? sorry for my bad english :(

You have a Qoob SX, so you can either get a working DVD drive and make a bootable disc, or load an ELF from the BBA.

I will have the SVN up shortly with all the code and an official build for people to test.

Just one or two very small things I want to get in before people start to test it out.

Here's some more progress:

Just curious, do you still plan to merge USB-Boot with Swiss?

Yes definitely - but the PC end needs a bit more re-writing.

Can't wait to try it! :D
Likely that we get to test it within the next 24 hours? Or later during the week?

I can't get Swiss working on my Wii with my SD Gecko...
This is what i have:

-Wii 4.2E with Wiikey V1
-SD Gecko with a FAT16 formatted 2GB SD Card
-SD Boot 0.4 and swiss on the SD card
-An NGC iso on the SD Card

This is what i did and what worked:
-Loaded the SDLoad.dol from the WiiKey config disc.
-Loaded SD Boot from SDLoad, from my SD Gecko in slot A
-Loaded my NGC iso: it worked!

Then:
-Loaded Swiss from SDLoad
-Get the Select Device menu
-I select: SD Gecko -> Compatible mode -> Slot A
Nothing appears...and i always have the select device menu...
Tried to boot from slot B but it's not better...

What can I do?

Try different SD-Card, if you have.

Using Gamecube with Viper Extreme USB.

I am trying to put the Swiss DOL on the Vipers flash system.
Usually, DOL files need to be patched for the Viper with the dollz3.exe -V parameter.
However the Swiss download contains a file swiss-lz.dol which (going by the -lz) I assume has already been compressed (but without the -v).

The swiss-lz.dol does not want to load and the GC hangs on the "Running DOL file" screen.
I tried to put sdload.dol on the flash and it was also hanging. Only after I have patched/compressed sdload.dol with dollz3 -v, sdload was working.

Running dollz3 on the swizz-lz.dol crashes on my XP machine. I assume that's because I am compressing twice.

Is there any way to un-compress swiss-lz.dol or can someone supply a non-compressed swiss.dol ?

Thanks !

(Another option would be to compile it myself but I I am quite a newcomer in that area.)

I used sdload (as a viperplugin) to load swiss, but it doesn't work if you want to load a dvd, because swiss can't controll the dvd :?
maybe we could program a completely new Corbra BIOS with the Viper_dev SDK and add controll of the lid switch :D

Use the build I've attached here: http://www.gc-forever.com/forums/viewto ... 9553#p9553

The revisions after that are only GUI related changes mainly which I plan to release later when they're finished.
