Gamecube Broadband Adapter

Post by KirovAir » Sat Feb 05, 2011 1:52 pm

So I finally bought myself a second Cube.
Now, I want to hook those cubes up, so I can play 8-player mariokart. But, I need to have 2 broadband adapters for that, ofcourse..

Now I have two questions;
1. Do I really need broadband adapters, or will modem adapters do just fine? (I might wanna try warppipe out too)
2. Anyone knows a place where to order them? It seems that they are very hard to find. (I live in Holland)
I've searched second-hand websites, and new ones, but I can't seem to find anything.
3. Are there any alternatives? Like cheap(?) home made solutions?

Thanks in advance.

1. well, modem is a modem, right :)
2. ask on forum marketplaces or ask somebody from spain, they're quite cheap on the eltorado forum IF they popup
3. no
please search before you ask - a lot has been discussed already!

I have one for sale. Currently up on swedish ebay. But if it doesn't get sold I could sell it to you.
How much are you willing to pay for one?

What is a good price nowadays?
When I look at ebay, I see people selling them for €40~80..
More than I expected.

Luckily, I found one already!
Someone was selling his cube, with an IcedCube case, 3 controllers, ViperGC Extreme, and a BBA for €60.
Immediately bought 'em. :)

Still searching one though.
