I can launch SWISS but can't launch any games. What am I doing wrong?

So this is what I'm using. The 512mb card loads SWISS and is formatted to FAT 16. The 16GB card was chosen from the compatible list SDHC Class 4 formatted to Fat 32.

I'm using swiss_r766 the latest version I could find. This is what I load on the 512mb SD Card.

I press B and press A on the SD card option and nothing happens. The only thing that is new in this set up is the 16GB card. I had another SD Card before but I must of used it for something else. This all worked last time I used it. That was on r300 something. So what the hell am I doing wrong? Also why can't I find a guide that shows you how to set up all the sd cards correctly? Also I just tried GB interface and that works.

When you swap SD card and re-enter SlotB SD Gecko, you don't have any directory listing?

This should just work, you can put SWISS ont the 16GB card as well, so you just can launch an ISO without swapping cards.

When I swap the SD card it goes to read it then it doesn't list the SD as option anymore. I thought action replay can't read cards that big?

Ok, I wasn't aware you boot via AR.

When your SD isn't recognized, for a reason or another, you can press Z to show every possible device to read from, and put your 512MB card back in to see it is read then. Something may be wrong with the 16MB SD card, I don't see anything else.

Okay I ordered another SD card from the list. Hopefully it works.

What the hell am I doing wrong? I've tried way too many different SD cards now. Maybe it's the release version?

You're not doing anything wrong.

Am I missing something? I tried changing the release version. On older releases it just hangs on reading the SD card before it gives up.

I figured it out! I couldn't load any games because the corner of the 512 card was broken off inside the SD Card adapter. It fit like a puzzle piece when the 512 card was in but made other cards lose contact.

Ah, yes. The fragility of SD cards. Next is the lock switch.

Who'd have guessed that? You can even see the corner being chipped off in the first pic. Hehehe.

That's hilarious, glad you figured it out.

I had noticed the missing corner, and that's fun: the guy who recently came to my place to get an exploit written on his memcard had the same corner missing from his SD, but the lose part wasn't in his SD Gecko. :P
If that had been the case we wouldn't have a hard time finding, because I have a pair of working setup to help investigate.
When you have nothing to compare to, it can be quite troublesome. :?
