hdmi adapter upgrade

i currently have a zelda pro zxp hdmi adapter before their was the eon,carby, and etc hdmi adapter's in the market. right now i am thinking about getting the carby hdmi adapter with the remote. can anybody tell if their any issue like the sound, because on my zxp, i have to edit my video's that i capture by adjusting it volume in post editing. idk what version is on the zelda pro zxc but it pretty old.

If this wasn't for the remote thing or the connector, you might be able to update it to the last GCVideo release.
Looking at the changelogs, you'll see that there were sound issues that were probably adressed later after your version.

There should be an info menu to check what version is on yours (don't you have a IR sensor to adjust the settings?).
