yeah but for people with technical understanding it maybe want to build it on their own would be great to have a shematic and a hex file to build it.

Ive seen Felix's original IPL replacement but not sure ive seen a open source drivecode chip.

liquitt is referring to tmbinc (Felix) ipl replacement. I have had the source before for a drive chip, which would upload via a parallel port cable, but that was too long ago and I don't think I have it :(

There was even code to load a DOL via the parallel port :)

If I remember correctly I saw Viper Extremes on several online shops about a half year ago. damn! I should have ordered one!

There are shops, that sell them still today, but you have to pay 50+ EUR.

I tried the - WaveBird receiver mod - inside a GameCube but it didnt work which in turn put me off installing the Qoob SX - that was a couple of years ago...

Never used the SD adaptor.

i always wanted the spice gc....why didnt they release that in europe -_-
also, nintendo's official sd adaptor is way cooler imho

The Spice GC came from the Players Pak (NGC + GameBoy Player) bundle.

You can still buy new Spice machines (PlayAsia) course they do not have the digital AV.
