Hey thanks. LOL. That was my first install of a MEGADrive. The shell on that cube is a chalkboard (from my paint and texture testing) so it became my quick and dirty MEGACube while I test my install. Maybe I should draw some pictures on it, like mushrooms or kittens.

I love gameboy stuff. After I discovered how awesome the gameboy player is I decided to build myself a sweet cube. Dol-001, my cube is using a wiikey fusion with autoboot swiss currently. The wkf sd slot is where the dvd laser used to be on my gutted dvd drive. I adjusted the s-video circuit brightness (luma) of my 'cube so it looks good on how I have my tv set. Featured in these pics are some of the devices I use along with the cube. These include my ez-flash IV gba flashcart (this was a pain to get), my home built gameboy / gbc devcart that takes both eproms and flash chips and goes up to 64mbit, and the retrousb snes retroport. Nice selection of hardware for some gameboy fun.

Just to prove this isn't an emulator and this is the real gameboy hardware running:

*edit* SD Gecko is built:

There's still a wiikey fusion lid toggle switch on the back just for if I ever need to revert the firmware temporarily. I call this thing the "Opencube".

Not much to show off. But none the less, here's mines for the record. :D

Pardon the quality. I use to have a pretty decent smartphone to take photos. But sold that off when I could no longer afford my phone bill. Now I'm stuck with my webcam. It does HD, but it's practically legally blind. I have to use the ultra bright LED flashlight I use for my bicycle to make it see things decently. :P

GameCube is still a virgin. :P

I use an Action Replay v1.14 + WiiKey SD Adapter to get my homebrew and backups going. :D

My soldering skills are that of a child really. My fine motor skills are total crap and I can't solder anything. Even when I did have a soldering gun, I was bad at it. Not even the simple stuff. Perhaps I just had a bad soldering gun...

Thus I never even considered using a modchip. Killing GameCubes is not my hobby, so the softmod route was best. :D

Yeah my area is a bit of a mess. :P I got an USB adapter hanging nearby so I can use my GameCube controllers on my PC for Dolphin. Dolphin kicks ass for my Wii Needs and I'm sure I can use it for GC games as well. But I own a GC and decided to soft mod it since I happened to have the Action Replay disc I bought when I was younger...so why the hell not. I only paid 8 bucks for the SD adapter and 10 for the SD card. Cheapest softmod to date. Back when I used to have my Nintendo DS Lite, a flashcart ran me 40+ dollars. :P

I got two headphones plugged in there. One I use for normal use like YouTube videos/video games. I use the earbuds for listening to music since I still don't have a decent headset right now so music doesn't sound too great on those. I'd use the ear buds all the time, but if I put them in, I'm deaf to the world and I don't like that. :P

I've thought about getting a black case for the GameCube to match the computer case. But at some point this might end up in the living room once we get the big screen out of the pawn shop. So not sure if I want to or not. :P

How many people have you killed?
