Opening Up a Gamecube Question
I just ordered my full size case a while back and now I cannot find my game bit drive , Will a 5/32 Nut driver do the job? Any help would be appreciated . Thanks!

Re: Opening Up a Gamecube Question
Trying the melted pen now , Cant seem to get that to work lol.
Re: Opening Up a Gamecube Question
Maybe you tighthened them too strong with your game bit to unscrew them with the pen . I did just open one for the first time and put in the pen with flames and all, pushed pretty hard, waited and screwed. Only had to do it four times because everytime I managed to crush the notch.Mack702 wrote:Trying the melted pen now , Cant seem to get that to work lol.

Re: Opening Up a Gamecube Question
Maybe I did , No worries My woman works at lowes she is bring me home a 5/32 micro nut driver set. Hopefully that works or I will order another Gamebit as I want this to be done professionally on this system I am changing the cases on. Been practicing on an old system with a failed Xeno install that I previously did :O
Re: Opening Up a Gamecube Question
well you can violently open the old case and just use other screws on the new one

Re: Opening Up a Gamecube Question
I have an identical switch like that on my GC. Same spot too. Mine is for switching the XenoGC chip on and off.
Re: Opening Up a Gamecube Question
I have got a switch like that too but that is for turning the internal memory card on and off
