Many people who were expecting Wind Waker to have a realistic art style were disappointed when it was revealed to be cel shaded and waited for Twilight Princess instead, but today more and more Zelda fans are playing Wind Waker for the first time and enjoying it in spite of that. The Wii U's remaster helped.

I notice the GameCube's reputation in general is improving these days too.
