Hi, guys!

Post by VRebuli » Sat Feb 07, 2015 4:41 pm

New user here. Nintendo enthusiastic, GC lover.

I want to mod a GC to read games in SD cards (or similar) first. My dream is to build a portable GC in the future. Right now I don't have the knowledge (or the skills) to do any of these things.

Can someone point me some directions, maybe some key topics, so I can get started?

Thank you all!

The SD mod is one of the easiest out there. http://www.gc-forever.com/wiki/index.php?title=SDGecko

You can also still buy them pre-made pretty cheap I think.

keep in mind having an SDGecko will be useless on its own. GC will still require a modchip or SDML to make use of SDGecko.

The only way to play titles over SD is to use a method which allows boot of homebrew. http://www.gc-forever.com/wiki/index.ph ... g_Homebrew and these options are limited since most are no longer available / out of production
