Hey there

Post by MrCuttingHorse » Tue Oct 20, 2015 4:38 pm

Hello everyone,

i am Mr Cutting Horse. I recently discovered gamecube hacking because of 20XXTE, a mod for SSBM. As i saw what was possible with this i got really excited to try hacking and modding myself.

I am currently studying Software Engineering and had quite a bit of experience with programming before that. Hope it comes in handy trough my hacking and modding journey.

Anyways, i was looking to write my own mod (like 20XXTE) and maybe mess around with swiss or other homebrew software, or maybe even write something myself. However, i have no idea where to start. I couldn't find any guides for it (or i did not look good enough). If someone could give me some pointers on where to start, that'd be great!

This is the current list of hardware that i have:

- 1 x Gamecube
- 1 x Broadband Adapter + RJ11 cable
- 1 x Cat5 Crossover Cable (RJ45)
- 1 x 64MB Memory card
- 2 x WiSD Memory Adapter
- 1 x 8GB SD
- 1 x 1GB Micro SD + Adapter
- 5 x DVD-RW 8cm discs

Cya around!
