Greetings

Post by gwobcke » Thu May 26, 2016 11:08 pm

Hi all. Just introducing myself to the forum. Mid-40s from Australia, working as a developer and my interests include drumming and gaming on the GameCube and Game Boy Advance systems mostly - but I also own a Commodore 64 and an Xbox 360. I am currently into learning about the Homebrew stuff and anything else I can find for the GameCube. Thanks.

Hey there. Welcome to the forum :)

What kind of things are you developing? Applications or hardware?
Own a couple PAL and JPN cubes. And three BBAs. Homeland and PSO I/II.

I am a software developer - mostly C# and Javascript - for building websites, APIs etc. for the business I work at. I have coded in Perl and QBasic in the past and I have also tinkered with ANSI C but nothing too serious. My hardware experience is not so great, my first job out of college was soldering components to coin detection boards - but my knowledge of circuits is pretty limited.

Welcome to the forum, homebrew for GameCube is a lot lower level than C# and Javascript fortunately (or unfortunately depending how you see it ;))
