Hitting a brick wall on my current SSBM-mod (iso>1.35gb?)

Sup everyone?

I´m gonna make this as short as possible.
Thanks to the gamecube image rebuilder that bsv made back in 2009 (http://www.emutalk.net/threads/49346-Ga ... -Rebuilder) we´re able to add additional files into the iso instead of replacing other insignificant files (trophies) with important ones, sadly thou for the next mod that´s on the way and that´s gonna improve the 20XX hack even further we would require the ability to surpass the 1.35gb size limit. I´ve spent the last 3 days converting the executable back into c# source code and have of jet not been able to get visual studio 2013 to run it properly for testing purposes.

Kinda stuck and frustrated with this at the moment, so I thought maybe someone here knows where in the final size of the iso is saved in the iso.hdr or game.toc and can help me out with this one.

Can anyone help???

I don't recall if the DVD functions themselves are limited or if the drive itself has a hard limit for maximum LBA (I bet it does).

What platform are you trying to run this larger ISO on?

I´m not trying to run it, I´m trying to make one. But as of now the image rebuilder won´t let me alter it´s source code and I have no idea how to change the system files of the iso.

The goal would be to urn those extended Iso´s on dios mios Wii´s and on wkf/wode cubes.

Oh, right... I'm not sure, try GCIC from the ISO tools thread viewtopic.php?f=37&t=17

Well, tried GCIC today, and after a couple of hours wasted I´m not able to prevent the "The base directory contains file names longer thatn standart 8.3 ...." error message followed by the resulting image created by the programm not being recognised as a gamecube iso by dolphin, swiss etc.
(all test were done with a vanilla unmodified iso of ssbm pal version)

Couldn't Swiss run games >1.35gb, if the optical drive is the central limitation?
