Wii64 emulator for Wii problems

Post by KrisRevi » Sat Dec 07, 2013 1:20 am

i have installed Wii64 emulator for Wii and download 3 different Banjo Tooie

Banjo Tooie.v64
Banjo Tooie (A).z64
Banjo Tooie (U).z64

and the Wii64 was last updated in 2012, when i run the games the sound flickers and the "game" runs very slow!
i tryed fucking arround with the settings and got the texture error fixed (to enlighten you, the map was all white, only the char was showing)

anyone have a fix or another emulator? (yes i have googled but found nothing) just asking! :)

Have you tried any other game? I haven't played Wii64 in a bit but it ran Mario Kart perfectly. I'm using a 32gb class 4 sd card for my emulation on the Wii. I believe it will accept up to a class 6 but I'm not 100% sure. You could run it from a HDD if it happens to be the loading speed that's causing the issue. Kinda much for a rom but it is an option. Try some more roms and see, if the same issue then try a class 4 card if your using a 2. I used a class 2 and the emulators froze a lot for me.

Wii64 is no where near perfect, the problems you're reporting are common issues. You can join the rest of the users and wait for an update on the emulator or try Not64.

As emu-kidid said it is most recommended to use the Not64 emulator, as this fixes the audio issues.
Until such time as the next Wii 64 Ultimate comes out. Have fun goodday
