Gamecuber over at libretro forum has split RetroArch Final Burn Alpha into multiple cores.

Original thread http://libretro.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=2622

But I am unable to sign up to eurasia or download from the other chinese site, so does anyone here have eurasia access to get the dols and post them here. http://www.eurasia.nu/modules.php?op=mo ... 5&forum=76

If you look back sometime last year I had experimented with split cores and some results are great and some cores need more than one single core depending on the title...
Split cores is not the solution needed...it only creates 20+ DOLs to make things more confusing

Yes mega I remember the thread and yes I know its not ideal and considering I coud just use the wii or another modern device running RetroArch.

But realistically whats the choice for GameCube hardware multiple cores or do without certain emulated games forever.

it needs optimization for GC...

retroarch or libretro or whatever it is called was created for GC compatibility in the sense that they just wanted to know if it could be compiled and start at a minimum....as if the they hoped to gather as many system on a list to hype their efforts

there was no consideration to optimize it for GC or any other systems since they simply hoped the system itself could handle the bloatware
splitting cores is not really optimizing...its just reducing the amount of bloatware that is loaded into memory

Here are the last 2 parts. Toaplan core is highly recommanded since almost all games run greatly on Gamecube.

Toaplan core update :)
With cutting more unnecessary codes, I made Toaplan slimmer and 2 mores games(Battle Garegga & Knuckle Bash 2) could run on Gamecube now.
This core runs really well on Gamecube. I love Toaplan shooting games~~

Hi bearteam, thanks for your cores. Will you update them in the future to make them work with Retroarch 1.2.2 release?
