The candid question would be: In what respect do we, GC and Wii users, care about PS3 programming hacks, unless it will allow GC/Wii emulation on the said SONY console?
I have read the external link, and as a user, have heard about dynarec regarding N64 emulation, so I have some questions:
Can we expect improvements in GC N64 emulators so they will become more accurate and/or compatible?
Shall we hope next retroarch GC release to be functional anew?
I believed that dynarec only concerned 3D functions optimisation, is it more than that, so benefits will touch larger situations?

Well...It does says other platforms. Not sure if it's Nintendo-specific.

Also, it would allow for full speed emulation of certain consoles on PS3.
emu_kidid even ported Wii64 to PS3 a while back. It's slow and graphically glitchy, but can on run SM64 and Mario Kart 64 so I hear.
emu_kidid has talked before about back-porting Wii64 updates to the PS3. It might actually be possible now.

When I read the post of Papy.G I thought to write: "Where Are We: Other Platforms". But I thought only I interpreted it that way.
For sure "Other Platforms" means all other consoles.

Thanks. I'm aware this is around, I need to make some space and set up my PS3 again as it's been stored away for a little while now.

I posted this before I was aware of the Twitter post.
I did see something about an issue with the controls or something, maybe related to PSL1GHT. I can't remember the exact wording though.

Yeah there were several issues, mostly related to PSL1GHT.
