Short Question about GCOS

Post by yamaharacer » Sat Feb 04, 2012 3:20 pm

Hi,
I have just bought me one more time a Gamecube just for playing some good games like Zelda or Metroid. Now I have still a Qoob SX here at home and I just wanted to know if there is a method to flash GCOS on it or do I have to prepare a homebrew disc to start it?

If I need to prepare a homebrew disc, how can I do this? I mean will the Qoob chip recognize my disc wit some homebrew on it and a big dummy file? Or do I have to set some special settings in my burning software?

Thanks a lot.

No, you can't flash a Qoob SX with GCOS. I never added support because this chip doesn't have USB flash support incase of a bad flash.
