There is nothing much you can do about it. Check the compatibility list http://wiki.scorpei.com/index.php/SD-Bo ... ility_list
emu_kidid will release a new version soon with better compatibility though.

OK... but i have a two more questions:

1) How I stop/keep dvd spinning in sd-boot?
2) What is "shrink" or "shrunk" dvd?

Maybe this works in this case right??

I try to found this in google but I don't find anything... The tehskeen forum is offline to...

Tks!

1) In 0.4, there is no option to stop the dvd from spinning.
2) Shrink or shrunk DVD is when a gamecube iso has had the garbage (padding) data removed from inbetween files, and sometimes meaning that files have been re-arranged. This should be harmless if done with a proper shrinker, however some games (Mario Baseball) don't seem to like it, so for best results, don't shrink any games.

oh yes, if you are using the SD Media Launcher disc as your game in the drive, you will have issues like this too!

If your gonna use a shrinker use gcm 0.4 all the others seem to create problems, I ran into the same problem with the trial edition of biohazard 4 a burned shrinked copy with the other shrinkers also caused the same problem so it's not just you .

it's just unkindly to others who don't speak spanish/brazilian/chinese/any other language so lets all just stick to a language everyone knows, right?

Hey slashpts, let's talk in portuguese by PM, cuz everyone are english speakers.

But talking about the compatibility with RE4, your result is normal, cuz i cant play it too, hope the next version will work.

In the compatibility list, they're talking about the DEMO version if you didn't noticed.

So, sendme an PM then we can speak there. Hugs!

GCMUtility 0.5 is best, but if your image is already pre-shrunk you will need to use fstfix first to make it back to 1.35GB

From my experience, it doesn't matter if a gcm is shrunk or not. I can only run games from my 4GB SDHC properly when they are in one fragment (aren't fragmented).
Backup important files on your SD and format it. Then try copying games on your card. This works most of the time.

I didn't want to create a new topic but I would like to know why Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory gets stuck on the first loading screen when I play it in SD-BOOT v0.4 Final. What could be the problem? The game doesn't use Audio Streaming AFAIK.

As far as I know they aren't the same program are where done by two different people
gcm is just short for
gcm-tool - http://code.google.com/p/gcm-tool/ don't confuse it with gc-tool either.

dsbomb = gcm-tool / gcm 0.4 - http://dsbomb.blogspot.com/
Ghoom = gcm utility v0.5
dsbomb found a few problems with gcm utility v0.5 so he attempted to fix them in his program

dont wanna hijack, but didn't want to open a whole know tread. i got sd boot running from my homemade sd-adapter I'm playing a un-shrunk zelda: WW and the game seems to work fine, but the intro video(the one when starting a new game) and boss fights don't have the music. is that just me or is it a known problem, audio seams to work fine in the rest of the game.
Thanks
