Hi there,
is there a way to load sd-boot directly from a viper gc extreme chip without loading sdload?

My problem is that I have just sdhc cards which doesnt work with sdload and when I flash the viper with sdboot it wont boot up. It just ends in a black screen.

emu_kidid, I can load cobra sdload plugin using dvd explorer from dvd? Or I have flash my Viper GC a version sdload plugin?

Bios Cobra 2.1 + Plugin SDLoad Slots A y B
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=EDVT7G6A

My Viper GC have cobra 1.6 bios and don't have plugins... not have USB, only LPT1.... and I see an Viper GC works with sdload plugin on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApDVrqcXj5g)!
How I flash with these files on the MU link?
Flasher app only suppors USB version of Viper GC?
The archive .VGC have a compatible bios + sdload plugin?
Thanks for reply!

He's saying he can't flash with USB, he has the old Viper which uses parallel port (LPT) programmer with ribbon cable.

takanari: If you have a bios with sdload included in it as a plugin (looks like you found it, the megaupload link) use something like imgburn and burn to dvd as a data disc (If I remember right, ISO9660 and NO JOLIET for GC-compatible format) then pop the disc in your GC, go to disc explorer and run the .vgc and it will start flashing.

Or if you still have the programmer for LPT-port you can alternatively use that one.. I'm guessing the program you use is included in the full cobra 2.1 bios package with all tools and manuals.
