Hi,
got a Big Problem with my Wasp Fusion.
I Install it an Update it to WKF FW 1.5
everything worked fine.
After that i downloaded the swiss r_296 Folder
and copy the iso loader with the wbfs manager to the sd card
Boot the gamecube and load swiss
after swiss was loaded, i take the sd card out an format it to FAT32
and copy the fzn and fzn.fw to the sd card
back to the cube i choose the fzn file and the update starts, like in the youtube video
after that i got the message
and turned the cube of for a few seconds
but now when i turn the cube on and want to load swiss from the wasp
i got a black screen and nothing else
what can i do now?
Wasp Fusion Black Screen after Flash Swiss
Re: Wasp Fusion Black Screen after Flash Swiss
I have exactly the same problem. Flashing was completed succesfully, i can see the Swiss launcher on GC Menu...but when i start it...the only thing i can see is a black screen.
Any idea?

@Pa0l0ne
the screenshot already shows swiss updated to latest r296
what version were you trying to flash when you got blackscreen?

Re: Wasp Fusion Black Screen after Flash Swiss
I have just flashed r296 from loaded r296 iso by wasp with 1.5 fw. So, you know, this is my first Swiss flash but maybe, despite the "succesful message", something goes wrong. Did you think i have to try to recover wasp by reflashing it with the help of "other" (if exist..) procedure? Or maybe it's only a video outpout resolution problem? (My connection is with RGB Scart cable)
Thanks for your time.

Re: Wasp Fusion Black Screen after Flash Swiss
did you flash using the nightly builds posted here or did you use builds posted somewhere else?
blackscreen is usually indication that the download was from some other source....
also, RGB scart from the analog port right?
no digital cable connection / MX chip?

Re: Wasp Fusion Black Screen after Flash Swiss
First of all, thanks for your reply megalomaniac.
I have used nightly build posted here and i have analog rgb (no digital cable).
EDIT: i have flashed the wkf_recover_1_2.iso with the help of a SD injected with raw data of the iso. (I have used WinImage program) and finally my wasp become in life again...
Now...i'm a bit confused on how to go on...i've reupgraded to v1.5 of wkf firmware ready to reflash swiss but i've just discovered that optimal thing is to downgrade on v1.0 of wkf...thinking on how combine the setting menu (autoboot option) and then flashing swiss.
Last but not least...actually i have megadrive v6 on this GC and i don't want loose the DVD drive functionality so i want to experiment if it is possible to install a switch or something similar that help me on my goal.
Did you have any experience/help for me?

Re: Wasp Fusion Black Screen after Flash Swiss
worry about DVD later....first lets get WASP working with swiss again...
you need to use the latest nightly build r_296 swiss.fzn and fzn.fw
both files need to be in the same directory
flash that,..you should see the flash process happen twice....
one will be really fast, the other will be about 10 seconds....
after that reboot and post results....
then we can look into your DVD connectivity using MEGAdrive V6....BTW i want to see pics of that...sounds like you have a unique set up there

Re: Wasp Fusion Black Screen after Flash Swiss
When i come back to home i will retry to flash Swiss.
Atm look at my hardware installation:
Naturally in the pics i haven't yet joint the lids together and i haven't yet connected the P29 with a NC to gnd switch.
I have made this type of installation cause unfortunately, in directly welding the QSB, a top pitch on one filter was blown away for my fault. Soldering directly to the pins, solved my problem and got the same result (isn't it? )
EDIT NEWS: Finally i have succesfully flashed Swiss V0.3 rev.296 on my Wasp, and now i don't have blackscreen anymore....so i suspect the previous flash was a "partial flash" (maybe only the menu and/or firmware?!?) or it basically was a "bad flash".
The strange thing is that i performed the same "Swiss flashing procedure" as last time...with only difference that now i have placed the files on the root of my SD GECKO instead of inside a directory.
So..time to downgrade...cause i don't like to use P29 at any boot...
EDIT NEWS 2: @ Megalomaniac How it is that now...without downgrading at v1.0 (i'm still on base v1.5) i have perfect autoboot Swiss at every powerup??
These are my Wiikey Fusion v1.5 Settings before flashing Swiss:
