Hello,

Recently i modded my gamecube with a Xenochip.
I adjust the laser to 25 ohm when it was reading verbatim discs.
Everything was fine for two days, but now just suddenly it wont reading backups again.
It will get the disc error when booting up the game.
I adjusted the laser even lower but it wont help anymore.
What should be the problem here?

Most likely your laser is dead, buy a new one.

Insert an original game into the GameCube and hold down the start button on controller 1 until the game should've started. If something other than the game comes up then the chip is fine and your laser is unable to read backups, if the game starts then your soldering wasn't a total success and something has probably come loose.

The chip is good installed because backups did run in the past.
And yes when i press start the xeno shell 1.5 apears.
I orded a new laser, gona try that.
