Qoob SX Problem

Post by iDesTroY » Sat Dec 15, 2018 4:28 pm

Hey all I just got a cube with a Qoob SX, I flashed the Qoob SX IPLBoot Update.DOL and now it just boots to the normal Gamecube menu/bios instead of Qoob menu. Anything I can do to reverse this? I can get into Swiss via the Pokemon exploit and I do have SD Gecko to hand :)

iplboot will reset into the original bios if it can't find an SD card with ipl.dol on it.
If you want to flash the original BIOS, you can do it the normal way, read the document that comes with the updater for more information.

Ah ok, so do I just place the IPL.dol in root? And will FAT32 do?

And what would be the normal way? I'm kind of new to all this Cube modding.

The file name must be lowercase. FAT32 and exFAT are supported (not in most homebrew besides Swiss though).

The normal way is you download the official update from the Qoob thread and read that magical file called readme.
