What are all the differences between the Viper Extreme and the Qoob Pro? Why would someone choose one over the other?
I know they are both IPL replacement modchips and there are newer, better options that aren't IPL like the GCEmu ODE and such btw. I am just curious about the Viper EXTREME and Qoob PRO.

Today they are both pretty much the same. Keep in mind most of the features like running disc backups, removing region lock, cheats etc. are already implemented in Swiss. You will probably end up flashing them with something like iplboot to get into Swiss as quick as possible.
Of course there are other capabilities like USB communication with the PC but that's something you could use only if you are writing your own homebrew. And most of the tools are not compatible with Qoob/Viper USB adapters anyway.
