Viper extreme wire

hello, I bought a gamecube with an extrele viper chip installed but I also saw that the 2 blue wires of this adapter were torn.
does it make sense to solve them or not?

Are the two blue wires still attached to the white connector? If so, you can just re solder them back onto the corresponding pads.
