WiiMC alone is a reason enough to buy a Wii
Sure it can't play HD content but for SD XviD it's perfect
I'd say this program accounts for 60% of the overall use of my Wii over the years, if not more. Amazing work!

This is probabably one of the best pieces of homebrew for the Wii. Very nice and sleek UI and lot's of effort in the overall feel & usage.
Plays all my series flawless from my wireless NAS.

Yeah I rarely attach storage locally when samba and ftp streaming work like a charm

I completely agree with AC-Orange . WiiMC and Wii64 are used more on my family and our friends consoles than actual games. Great software by great people, made it worth rubbing the dust off the Wii for good

Seems nice, will give it a spin on my wii later, that audio streaming feature from the net is handy!
Btw, is there something similar for the GC?

I love this app. My favorite is that I can backup my DVD collection to my hdd retaining the menus and special features etc., and WiiMC can play it as if I was watching it from the disc. No need to burn my backups.
