Maybe you used the wrong end, master is purple/narrow and slave is gray/wide.

I used GCMM on my Wii to load PokéLoad (Colosseum) and gbi.gci (from the MCBACKUP folder) and when I get to the exploit in Colosseum, the game crashes with an "Exception Occurred" Error.
Am I missing any files on my Memory card?

This was the best picture I could get. https://i.imgur.com/U9EsgIz.png
Not sure why the crash screen looks so awful.

You're not missing anything, you just stumbled over another libogc bug.

Do you happen to know what's causing this, or what I can do to prevent it?

I wish. The original author disappeared and no one's maintaining it.

Ah, okay. If it's any help, the Low Latency version works fine.

FWIW libogc has a huge bug in its interrupt re-enable macro that will cause more and more problems as the toolchain's compiler is blindly upgraded to more efficient versions...

Is there a way to set up gbi ll to always launch with some settings? Like if I always want the same frame etc how do I get it to default or remember that?

Create a gbi-ll.cli file with the command line options you want (see op). The options menu in Swiss sets those flags.

"--(no-)enhance
Toggle Game Boy Player enhancements. (default: no)"

What is this?

Some games support rumble or provide an alternate color palette through the Game Boy Player. GBA Video carts use this to lock you out.

Thanks extrems. Uh, so is it good to have it on in most cases? I don't use GBA video carts at all.

Since everyone is being so helpful, I might as well ask - I plan to use the LL version exclusively. Are there any non-interlaced zoom settings that still look good on a 15khz PVM screen but are larger then the default zoom? I can see the default zoom is very accurate to the scanlines so I can appreciate that, but just wondering if other zoom settings are worth a look.

One more - I noticed the "frame" options in the launch menu don't do anything. I never get a border at all, just black. Is this because I am using a DVD-R version rather than memory card?

It can cause slowdown in some games.

No.

This is only supported with an SD card adapter at this time.

I'm looking at getting the GCVideo HDMI mod done, what are my best options for versions and resolutions? I've heard that the 240p is much better quality than the 480p signal, is that still true?

This only apply to the Game Boy Player Start-up Disc.

Using a GB x5. I'm not sure I have seen this with other games yet or not but in Castlevania the adventure I notice when the player moves right it looks normal but when he moves left there is flickering garbage all over the screen. What is the cause of this? I don't think I've seen it on other videos of playthroughs of this game. Is it normal for the game, an everdrive problem, or a problem with my gamecube/game boy player, or a problem with GBI?

Hello! Here goes my first post, can the rumble be enabled on gbi-ll via .cli? If so, how?

I seem to be having trouble getting all the borders or frames installed. I have downloaded the extras folder and placed the frame.tpl.gz and the frame-srgb.tpl.gz file in the GBI folder on the root of my SD card. However, when I try to select the frames under "Frame" before launching the game I am only given 8 options to choose from none of which is simply black or no frame. If I don't select any of them I still get a gray/silver frame. Is there some other way these are supposed to be extracted or installed?

The overlay frames seem to have the original "gameboy advance" text/logo removed. Is there any way to edit the existing frame art to restore that for my personal use, or to add new custom frame art?

Thanks Pargordius.
The iso worked wonderfully, tested on NTSC-U GameCube model 1 with XENO v2 and Gameboy player with Jap version of Bomberman Quest.
The colors and sound are fantastic. Plays way smoother than the original disk
