I'm looking to backup some of my Wii games on PC. Unfortunately I already sold my Wii but I still have the Wii U.

Can I use CleanRip on the Wii U?

If so, does the system need to have a mod chip in it?

Also, is there a detailed guide that explains how to use Cleanrip? I haven't found one yet.

You might be able to rip Wii games on the Wii U with it, GC games are unlikely to work though. CleanRip is trivial to use, just run it and follow the instructions.
