Looking for Super Smash Bros Melee GBA Player save hack/tutorial

I've found many videos and posts online explaining how to use wind waker and a save hack to play GBA games w/ GBI, but I haven't been able to find the Super Smash Bros save hack anywhere. I don't currently own wind waker so i'd like to use SSBM if I can. Any help would be greatly appreciated and let me know if I'm posting in the wrong place.
