Game Boy Interface Huge Vertical Black Bar

I am trying to use the GBI on my JVC D series CRT with Carby Component cables. I am using the Action Replay and SD card loader, swiss r756, gbi 20191107.
SR mode looks awesome, but both the other modes have a huge black bar in the middle of the screen.
Also, and maybe related, when I boot Swiss a very brief split screen appears (maybe 1/10th of a second), before it flashes and fixes itself.
Lastly, using composite everything functions normally.
Any ideas? Thanks!!

This is GCVideo's blanking regeneration at work. You bought a defective product.

Thanks for the quick reply! Are you saying that my Carby Component is defective, or all Carby Component will behave this way?
Thanks!

All Carby Component Cables will behave this way.

Will this happen with the Official Nintendo YUV cable?

Of course not. All development was made using it.

That's probably why the EON GCHD MKII does have a specific GCVideo version, I hope it doesn't suffer this issue. Does it?

It has a workaround for YPbPr only. HDMI and RGB outputs still suffer. GCVideo-DVI v3.0 addresses this.
Maybe try reading the FAQ?

I have read this FAQ, but this was too early before I got a digital AV device, and I was remembering this as a problem specific to analog YPbPr out.
Though I didn't notice this on my GC plug with the V2.4c firmware, so I didn't bother looking for this.
