Re: Is there a patch for Zeldas/Metroid/etc inverted X/Y axi
after updated today to the latest wkf/swiss and having some free time I decided to check the cheats... but how do you make them work? Swiss cannot find a database and the wiki does not go into details here: http://www.gc-forever.com/wiki/index.ph ... wiss/Usage
what knowledge am I missing here? please advice, TIA!

Cheats = broken for a while now in Swiss.
Re: Is there a patch for Zeldas/Metroid/etc inverted X/Y axi
ah, thanks for letting me know... is there any other way to get cheats with wkf?

Do you know them for the NTSC-J Japanese version of Wind Waker?Ralf@gc-forever wrote:Here're some Wind Waker AR/WiiRD codes for 'normal' controls[/code]

The codes below are untested (I don't have the Japanese version of Wind Waker), but should work fine.
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker [DOL-GZLJ01-JPN]; Game-ID: 196

Thanks a lot for those codes. I tried using the WiiRD ones, generating a gct with the Online GCT Creator (I do not know if there is another way to use cheats in Nintendont since these are the first ones I use).Ralf@gc-forever wrote:The codes below are untested (I don't have the Japanese version of Wind Waker), but should work fine.
"Manual Camera: Regular Controls" works perfect: X axis (rotate left/right) is inverted, Y (move closer/further to/from Link) is not.
"Subject Camera: Regular Controls" doesn't. When I push the C-stick up to enter subject camera, the camera starts moving forward towards Link's head, but the game freezes when the head covers the whole screen (probably the last frame before the subject camera would become active). Nintendont's quit button combo still works, though.
Tried with Nintendont v3.387 (no mod), all options Off except for Cheats, obviously, and Lang & Video set to Auto.
No code for Boat Cannon's camera?

AFAIK, Nintendont has problems with C2 code types. Anyway, you can use the decrypted AR "Subject Camera" code instead of the WiiRD/Gecko C2 code for Nintendont:
Code: Select all
Subject Camera: Regular Controls [Ralf]
04003C00 C0630004
04003C04 FF401850
04003C08 4816948C
0416D090 4BE96B70
Nope, I would need the Japanese version to be able to port the "Boat Cannon" code over to NTSC-J.elmimmo wrote:No code for Boat Cannon's camera?

Wow, thumbs up for those codes!
Developers should include all possible configurations to please players, it's like they're too lazy to bother.

Are there codes for Super Mario Sunshine?
Re: Is there a patch for Zeldas/Metroid/etc inverted X/Y axis?
I have Windwaker on Dolphin (Windows 10, Dolphin v. 5.0), and Windwaker GZLE01 (Which I think is NTSC-U), and I tried using these codes:
<code>
Manual Camera: Regular Controls [Ralf]
GA8Y-1WXC-GH2ZT
51DW-YKM4-57F8W
Subject Camera: Regular Controls [Ralf]
3452-6PM4-ZV8J0
0GPM-ZETV-CEEPM
DQH9-H7CY-GFPTN
QJ07-A3YP-YJNWA
PKVU-EDZH-8WMUK
</code>
I must be doing something incorrect, though, because when I enter into Windwaker, the C-Stick still seems to be non-inverted. (I'm actually just looking to invert the x axis - the y-axis isn't that important to me). I am using an actual Gamecube controller through the Wii-U controller adapter installed via this thread: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php? ... in_Dolphin
I'm wondering if someone might be able to help me diagnose what's incorrect about my setup.

It seems that the AR code doesn't work for Japan Version (GZLJ01). Is there anyway that I can find the right one by my self?Ralf@gc-forever wrote:The codes below are untested (I don't have the Japanese version of Wind Waker), but should work fine.
