DarkRosalina wrote:Hey, Ichiyanagi2? I was looking at your Spiked Goomba has Elite X-Naut's Drop/Hold Formula code, and noticed that the first two lines of the code were the Spiked Goomba's Hold/Drop for it's first slot. Is that correct?

Code: Select all

Spiked Goomba Item Hold/Drop and Hold/Drop Chance Modifier, Slot 1 [Ichiyanagi2]:
0436F0C0 00000XXX
0436F0C4 00YY00ZZ
YY = Holding Chance
ZZ = Dropping Chance

So to make it easier to get Poison Shrooms and Trial Stews, I can use your modifier codes to have Goomba's and Spiked Goomba's drop and hold them. Since these are recipes you would have to have Zess T make them, and you can't give her the Cookbook until after chapter 4.

Code: Select all

Goomba has a 100% Chance of dropping/holding Poison Shroom:
0436F070 000000D5
0436F074 00640064

Code: Select all

Spiked Goomba has a 100% Chance of dropping/holding Trial Stew:
0436F0C0 000000DA
0436F0C4 00640064
If I'm not wrong, that should be correct. The default hold/drop item should be a Mushroom, with a 5/200 chance of the Spiked Goomba holding it, and a 5/300 chance of the Spiked Goomba dropping it after combat. In exact numbers, you have a 0.025% chance of having it held and a 0.016% chance of them dropping it.
I updated the modifier code to show that the default hold/drop item is a Mushroom. I don't know the values of the hold/drop chance, if you can tell me I'll update it again. I know I said I wouldn't ask for more codes, but could you possibly make a code that plays the unused Riverside Station song inside Riverside Station? Originally I asked Ralf if he could, but due to a database failure my post was removed and I didn't bother to repost it since he isn't on here very much. I know he has made a code to have it play, but it replaces the all the music in the game with the unused Riverside Station song. I only want it to play inside Riverside Station, no where else. Also another code to have the E3 Title Screen song play only on the title screen/file select would be nice.

Thanks Ralf, I really appreciate it. One more thing, I'd like to have a code to make the Cake item (Item ID: 00A0 ) replenish everything including HP, Partner HP, FP, and Star Power. Like how it functions in the Glitz Pit. Lastly have it cause the Fast Status on Mario and his Partner for 20 turns. This will be the last I ask, I promise. It's just that I came up with the idea recently and thought it was a really neat idea since all it does is restore 10HP. I decided to use Ichiyanagi2's Goomba X-Naut formula hold/drop codes to edit all 8 slots with the items I want. As I'm going to have the Cake as a rare drop from each Goomba. I would also like to have a list of all the values for the hold/drop percentages if it's not too much trouble.

Hoo, Nelly, are you asking for a lot... but with the item drop/hold thing, I'll be glad to help.

This is what you need for what enemies hold/drop and their percentages of holding/dropping something (You need an item list and you need to turn the item drop/hold percentages into hexadecimal. You might also need a hex editor and a dump of the game. I can only hand out the NTSC-U version, not PAL. I can PM you the things you need for modification of item holds/drops, if ya wish).

If you could PM me the dump file that would be fine. As for a hex editor I have one in mind. Sounds complicated, but I'm willing to give it a try. Anyway what track do I modify do get it to play the unused Riverside Station song inside Riverside Station? The one for the title screen is obvious, but I'm not sure what one the inside of Riverside Station uses... Sorry for asking for another code, but the Cake was just an interesting idea, I swear it'll be my last...

Here's a little look at a custom yoshi color, for now ill just be mixing the existing yoshi's color but ill try to make an entirely new one!
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1WHmCj ... 7Bfyd5JQqq

Hey Ralf do you know where the value in hex is for this code ?? :
02B07B70 00020005
If I go check around B07B70 its just a bunch of non-sense, I want to be able to edit Goombella "Prologue" Hp , somehow all partner's hp are set a 10 until you get the first paper ability (paper Plane) , after that it is set to the "normal" value which is found at 00332689
plz help me lool been trying to make it work for about a week and nothing works :(
Thx in advance!

***hahah hey btw when you activate your mario speed+ and you hop on yoshi the speed is even faster XD!!

Hey guys, been studying this thread for a while now. I just got into modding TTYD myself. I actually came up with a code myself. I noticed a lot of posts on this thread for changing the BP requirement of specific badges. But I also noticed nobody posted a catch-all version for any badge. So I thought I'd do just that. Here is that code:

Code: Select all

Alright guys , here's the value for the Recipe Meteor Meal
002E4290 - 002E429F
I think the total length allowed for a recipe is either 14 or 16 long (in hex). I'm not entirely sure how it works, doesn't seems to be using the classic item Hex list, ill look into that soon.
for now I've been able to replace 002E41E4 - 002E41F3 by 002E4290 - 002E429F Giving me a Mango Delight instead of a Meteor Meal ! ^^
(and it also seems to give you the first recipe that correspond to what you've cook, if you put it to 2 different recipe the 1 will be selected.)
I'll upload a list of all the recipe when its done, good christmas too all btw

***I just found another table that list the exact same Recipe list at 465C2778 (Meteor Meal) . Didnt expect that (need more research)

Does anybody know how to edit the game's script? There are a handful of lines of dialogue I'd like to change from a couple scenes.

Special thanks to Ichiyanagi2 for testing.
Awesome cheats for my hard-mode run!

However it seems that the following cheat won't change some enemies' defense (eg goomba, koopa, kp koopa, bandit, big bandit (so far tested, i guess there are more :/)) for me using dolphin 5.0:

Of course the "Enabler"-cheat is activated and besides of some exceptions the DEF-modifier works so far.
So I'm now wondering if there's a chance for fixing or if someone has encountered the same issue?
Changing the concerned enemies' defense-values doesn't work; they seem to be ignored completely :/

I use the NTSC-U .iso (G8ME01) on Dolphin 5.0 also briefly tested on 4.0.2

I appreciate any hints or solutions.

EDIT
Just checked the "Global Enemy Base Defense Modifier" indeed affects the bandit!
So why the related cheat-string for him (00003C2C 00000001) doesn't?!
The KP Koopa is also affected now (although I noticed its defense while lying on its back is no more dropping to zero).
Sadly, the global modifier is not a satisfying solution.

yes there are different "block" for enemy such as Koopa Troopa

at this value you can find the koopa troopa in Hooktail Castle
465956AD => Koopa Troopa HP (Default = 04)(Hooktail Castle)
and this one is the koopa troopa on the fuzzy fortress path
4667D86A => Koopa Troopa HP (Default = 04)(Fuzzy Fortress Path)

in these block you can find the attack/def/hp/exp enemy gives and probably more. I have a good list so far ill give a link so you can dl it. still in progress atm.
