Hello Ralf.Super Smash Bros Melee Is Much Older Than 15 Years Ago.
Now previous GC Code Is Bored.
Anyway Is it possible to create a code that 'Player 1 Deal Damage Multiplier Modifier,Player 1 Receive Damage Multiplier Modifier'Please?
That would be Fun. Please Leave The Comment.

Some codes for 1.02:

Code: Select all

Player 1 Size Modifier
044530DA 0000XXXX

Player 2 Size Modifier
04453F6A 0000XXXX

Player 3 Size Modifier
04454DFA 0000XXXX

Player 4 Size Modifier
04455C8A 0000XXXX

Player 5 Size Modifier
04456B1A 0000XXXX

Player 6 Size Modifier
044579AA 0000XXXX

This website can be used to convert decimals to floating points: https://www.binaryconvert.com/convert_float.html

NOTE: The codes for players 2-6 don't work in some cases such as when a character spawns during the match or multi man melee.

This code isn't exactly what you want, but this is the closest that can be done for now. It basically modifies how much knockback you deal and you recieve, which is pretty much the same effect as high percent damage.

Code: Select all

Player 1 Offense Ratio Modifier
044530D4 XXXXXXXX

Player 1 Defense Ratio Modifier
044530D8 XXXXXXXX

3F000000 = 0.5
3F800000 = 1.0
40000000 = 2.0
40400000 = 3.0
40800000 = 4.0
40A00000 = 5.0

A cool code.

Code: Select all

Player 1 Subcolor/Team/Controlled by/CPU Level Modifier

YY = Controlled By
ZZ = CPU Level

WW Values
00 = Normal
01 = Bright
02 = Slightly Dark
03 = Dark
04 = Gray
05 = Pink (requires code to load)

00 = Red Team
01 = Blue Team
02 = Green Team
03 = Yellow Team (Used by port 3 in 1P mode)
04 = Gray Team (Used by CPU's in 1P mode except Home Run Contest, as teams are disabled).

YY Values
00 = Player 1 controls the player
01 = Player 2
02 = Player 3
03 = Player 4
04 = Player 5 (Can't do anything)
05 = Player 6 (Shields infinitely)

ZZ Values
00 = Level 0
01 = Level 1
02 = Level 2
03 = Level 3
04 = Level 4
05 = Level 5

Basically, everyone except the last player can swap.
So, assuming 3 people are playing, if p1 presses dpad up, he gets p2's moves.
If p2 does it, he gets p3's moves. If p3 does it, nothing happens.

Notes:
Just because you start a 4 player match with 3 clones each doesn't mean the GameCube has enough processing power to handle it! But depending on which characters you're using, the game may be really choppy or slow.
For all of these codes, once the clone dies, it stays dead. (Mostly... With the two or three clone codes, sometimes odd things might happen. Actually,odd things might happen with all of these codes.)
The "CPU clones that fight for you" codes mean just a character that looks like yours that acts on its own as a regular CPU player.
The "following your moves exactly" codes mean just that: both are spawned at the same point and do exactly the same thing. It can be hard to tell at first that you even have multiple characters. (Wait a bit, the idle animations usually give it away.)
Grabbing Bunnyhood, Mushrooms, Metal Boxes enemy or other items can separate the clones in exact copy mode.
Grabbing a whacking item, will give you that Ice Climbers effect of Combos
If you get separated you just run against a wall, if no walls you can R<- or R-> if you're on the same ledge.
Remember only one person can grab a ledge at a time!
Using the Custom Hover Name Tag, highly recommended.
If you die before your clone... with the exact following codes, you come back with 0% and no lives lost, and it's just you alone. (virtually twice the lives.)
Fought Multi Kirby in Adventure and it froze.
Fought against Zelda, she tried to transform and froze the game.
Try not to kill more than 5 enemies at once, the game will freeze,

* The default value is 2D0 hex, or 720, which is about 13 seconds.

258 seems to be the default.

Set starman duration**
04077D1C 3880xxxx
258 is the default for this one

** xxxx is in hex, and sets the duration. I think the unit is "frames", so 60 would be 1 second. The maximum value is FFFF, which should be about 15 minutes. (Note: Yes, the code IS limited to 4 digits.) The second line sets the time for when you first get a bunny hood, the first line sets the duration for when you get another one. (If you already have one on when you pick one up, the first line is used, if you don't have one, the second one is used)

Would it be possible to make a code that made Roy's and Marth's neutral B's fully charged, I would love that :D

Basically, everyone except the last player can swap.
So, assuming 3 people are playing, if p1 presses dpad up, he gets p2's moves.
If p2 does it, he gets p3's moves. If p3 does it, nothing happens.

Somewhat less crashing with the move swap code (wParam)

I’m sorry, I don’t fully understand the Move Swap codes. Are the [FIXED] codes additions to the original code or are they all different versions of the same code? *Somewhat less crashing* looks like an additive (Don’t know where to put it exactly), but I’m not too sure of *Move Swap Fix 2*.

Also, has anyone made a code that replaces one animation value for another on a certain character?
“Generic Forward Smash Animation (heinermann)* 0408C4C4 3880XXXX”<—- This but to swap any animation value with another for just one character in particular. Mario throwing fireball animation is replaced with his cape animation however the function has not changed: just the animation.

I don't know how to convert codes, since I only have 1.02. I do however, have some useful codes (obviously for 1.02):

Code: Select all

Master Hand's Bullet Modifier [nyancat128]
04153700 38C000XX

NOTE: When Master Hand takes over 150% damage, some projectiles and Pokemon won't function properly.

Crazy Hand's Bombs Modifier [nyancat128]
04158920 38C000XX
041589B0 38C000XX
04158A40 38C000XX
04158AD0 38C000XX

Crazy Hand's Lasers Don't Crash Without Master Hand [nyancat128]
04158584 38E0007F
041585B8 38E0007F
041585EC 38E0007F
04158620 38E0007F

Apparently, Crazy Hand was meant to have his own lasers, as they do 12%, have a darkness effect, and for some strange reason a larger hitbox.

Anyway Is it possible to create a code that 'Player 1 Deal Damage Multiplier Modifier,Player 1 Receive Damage Multiplier Modifier'Please?
That would be Fun. Please Leave The Comment.
This code isn't exactly what you want, but this is the closest that can be done for now. It basically modifies how much knockback you deal and you recieve, which is pretty much the same effect as high percent damage.

Code: Select all

Player 1 Offense Ratio Modifier [nyancat128]
044530D4 XXXXXXXX

Player 1 Defense Ratio Modifier [nyancat128]
044530D8 XXXXXXXX

3F000000 = 0.5
3F800000 = 1.0
40000000 = 2.0
40400000 = 3.0
40800000 = 4.0
40A00000 = 5.0
Hi- Do you think you could make a code for modifying your Defense Ratio to 0.4? It might sound redundant, considering you already have one for 0.5, but every number down from 0.8 makes a HUGE difference in gameplay. I've tried making the code myself, but I can't find the right value (I'm either setting my Defense Ratio to something abysmally low, like 0.0001 (Which just makes you flat out invincible), or I'm not changing it at all). I'd also appreciate if you could find the value for setting the Offense Ratio to 1.4, since setting it to 2.0 makes most of my attacks kill in one hit, and I want to be able to combo them to death instead.

EDIT: Nevermind, found out how to find the values myself. Thanks for creating the base code, though-

On another note, do you think you could make a size modifier code for one player? I tried using the one you posted up above, but it didn't make me any bigger, which is strange, considering the defense and offense ratio codes worked without a problem.

I'm not sure why it isn't working for you, it works for me. I have another player 1 size modifier code for 1P mode that should work, along with codes that allow you to modify what character you play as in all modes:
