So now with all these exploits I was wondering, which one is the fastest of them all?
These times were measured on a PAL GC starting directly after the GameCube logo fully faded out and ending on the first frame of Swiss actually loaded up.
1st Place: 11.1 seconds with a SD Media Launcher (SD Gecko in Slot A)
2nd Place: 13.4 seconds with Home Bros. in 60Hz
3rd Place: 13.9 seconds with Home Bros. in 50Hz
4th Place: 15.5 seconds with WW Hack v1.1 in 50Hz
5th Place: 16.3 seconds with a SD Media Launcher (SD Gecko in Slot B)
6th Place: 21.8 seconds with WW Hack v1.1 in 60Hz
7th Place: 24.5 seconds with WW Hack v1.0 in 50Hz
8th Place: 27.1 seconds with Twilight Hack in 50Hz
9th Place: 29.6 seconds wtih Twilight Hack in 60Hz
Last Place: 30.7 seconds with WW Hack v1.0 in 60Hz
So there you have it, if you thought the SD Media Launcher is your best way of booting homebrew without a hardmod then think again
A SD Media Launcher is limited to 2GB SD cards or smaller as well but with a savegame exploit you can use whatever SD Card in a SD Gecko because Swiss itself does not have such a limit

Re: Comparison of how long it takes to boot Swiss via Softmod
Times from cold power on with IPL related mods:
1st place: < 1 second with a custom IPL replacement
2nd place: >= 3.5 seconds with Qoob PRO and with Swiss as flash plugin (depends on how fast you can mash A and if it's your first plugin)
I don't have a Viper GC Extreme cube handy right now but that wouldn't be as fast since it always wants to reset DVD.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the softmods. Bought an SD gecko for a friend and he is in love with the options swiss are offering him right now.

Custom IPL replacement is just a Qoob with a custom bios.
