i tried using a dvd on the wiiXplorer but evertime i put it in it shows ``mounting dvd" i wait then theres nothing.. is it my dvd? or is it because i dont have the latest wiiXplorer?

You probably don't have DVDX or whatever else it uses for loading DVDs installed.

ones i install it where do i put? in witch folder?

Huh? What do you mean? dimok himself recommend IOS202 and according to dhewg DVDx is dead and there wont be a new version. Besides WiiMC does not support DVDx because Tantric wont implement it for some reasons

By any chance, did you mean the new introduced AHBPROT feature in the recently released Homebrew Channel 1.0.8? http://hackmii.com/2010/08/the-usb2-release/

USB2 via IOS58 and AHBPROT for DVD, yes :)

Nice, dont know if it's true but dimok said on #Wiidev that the USB2 speed of IOS58 is slower than the speed of IOS202 :?

Anyway, I dont agree with Team Twiizers in removing cIOS using apps like Dop-Mii or WiiSCU from the wiibrew wiki =/
