I have the wiimc which is brilliant. but loading dvd movies isnt supported afaik (gave an error when i tried)
I have searched around and came across mplayer libdvd and installed dvdx..
still no luck playing a dvd in this when i tried though, maybe its outdated?
Is there a way to play dvd movies?

If you installed everything right than your drive isnt able to playback dvd movies.
Only the first drives could this.

I think it is possible to plug a usb dvd drive into usb slot and so you can watch dvd movies.
PS I think your Wii has a D3-2 Drive

DVD playback will only work if the drive is not D3-2 or D4 (Wiis sold after mid-2009).
