Wii64 creators?

The Wii64 site is down, and I can't find a list of people who worked on it. Does anyone know who they are? I'd like to get in touch with them about another of their projects.

There are infos about them on wiibrew, but EmuKidid is there.

I didn't see that, just a Google Code archive with no contact info.

At least, you have their nicknames:
"Author(s) tehpola, sepp256, emu_kidid"

Maybe you'll find their contact adress in the readmes of Wii64 or even Not64.

Yes, the original team was tehpola, sepp256 and me.
Extrems is the author of the unofficial fork known as Not64 and FIX94 made a brief fork for Wii U VC mode, but that has been integrated mostly into the official repo.

I'm actually looking for PS364... you guys seem to not have put it anywhere and i'm looking to see if I can't improve it any.

I have it but it's pretty useless, no dynarec, only soft implemented graphics, and it was made to compile with a version of PL1GHT from about 9 years ago.

If you're really interested you'd be better off starting from scratch with the latest source. I may dust it off at some point but performance won't be great anyway since the main CPU isn't good enough to pull off full speed emulation even with a dynarec based on our initial tests a long long time ago.

It'd at least be useful to glean information from, as PSL1GHT still has fuck all in the way of docs.

In the official WII64 repo I can't find an updated release download. I don't know then if the updated few days ago files there are improvements for the Cruis'n Exotica video plugin emulation. Do you know that there is a recent OpenGL video plugin compatible with it? Could be added like Rice to WII64?

Just curious, do you intend in the future to restore ZIP support and add the "option to toggle nand pagefile" from FIX94's fork?

Would be convenient to just use one Wii64 version, since right now i have seen 3 forks, Wii64 with RiceGFX - emukidid or FIX94 version, and Wii64 glN64 from FIX94 (all 3 on my SD card), not counting the Not64 fork from Extrems which is great too.

Wasn't you the one that said that the emulator was dead? LOL.

Yep but I said it about the Not64 version, WII64 is the original release by another team. And they made another version with the Rice video plugin that partially supports Cruis'n Exotica, but works however slowly, buggy and with damaged graphic. And instead Cruis'n Exotica is light by Cruis'n World that can play in nearly fullspeed in the WII.

Yep, I could, but why if WII64 Rice is always the WII64 emulator by the WII64 team in the same release?

Because it's off-topic from the original purpose of the thread.

None of the emulators are dead, so stop saying that just because they aren't meeting your timeframes.

You should learn some coding and add compatibility for it.

Anything is better than what I have now, and i'd prefer to not have to start from scratch if possible. If you guys don't have a copy anymore, that's fine, but i'd really like to not have to start from nothing and convert Wii64 from scratch, considering the lack of docs for PSL1GHT and lack of copies of the official SDK for version 4.8*.

I'll upload it to github soon, it's pretty gimped and from way in the past but if you can get it compiling I'd be interested in bringing in more recent changes back to it.

That's... actually perfect timing, i'm about to be done with college for the semester so i'll be able to work on it. I cannot understate how much I appreciate this!

Here it is in all its glory: https://github.com/emukidid/wii64-ps3

If you can make it compile with the latest incarnation of PSL1GHT that'd be pretty cool

Trying to make from what's already written immediately exposed a toolchain issue. Fixing that, it dies on linking. Progress...?

I ended up fixing the build issues but have run into an issue where something super simple is bringing the PS3 to a crawl (drawing a rect in the GUI). I've commented that out and I'm now working on gfx and bringing in changes from wii64 to it
