wii64 is progressing.. it's nice to have users who remind us that we should try and squeeze that extra 5 minutes in per day/week(for some of us). Every time I play it somewhere with friends I always get the motivation that things need to be fixed so that's always a bonus. We'll try to get the next version out sometime "soon".

Thanks for de answer! And... ¡yes! I play some n64 games on wii64 (with 4 gamecube joys and many friends) and sometimes when te emu crashes... our face crashes too! :p
So... if you want not to fix our faces... please fix the emu! just kidding...! ;)

EmuKid, why not make this open source so people that have more time may actually work on the project. I think its fair to say that this emu has gone on way too long without any new version update. Not to mention that by the time you do get around to releasing the next build, its likely WiiU will be out already and this may be totally obsolete anyway. I understand that real life takes priority and time is stretched thin these days for everyone but realisticaly this probably could have been much farther along by now with a little more persistance.

NewFang, our work is open sourced, if you want to make a patch it's ready and available (as you can see from mupen64 360 guy who took our work and adapted it for xbox 360). Anything we haven't committed is not worth working on as we're doing it by ourselves.

liquitt, what was stupid about it? i thought that was a great idea, seeing as all of us waited a good year. i didn't know it was already open source, but putting someone down for just having a question makes you a straight up douchebag

jerkdud11, he meant obviously the "release as open source"-crap. i think if someone wants to complain, he/she should inform him/herself before he says something, that is simply wrong. it has been released years ago.

Not to mention he's talking about the Wii U making the Wii and this emulator obsolete... on a website dedicated mainly to a console that predates the Wii.

Thanks to EmuKid for the reply, I didn't know it was open source acutally. I figured it wasnt because I thought some fans of the emu would have worked on updating it by now if it was possible. No need to tear me down because of an honest question. Also, I just don't see the development going into the Wii after the WiiU is released. I'm guessing people will put there efforts towards emulation for WiiU at that point instead. Just an opinion, I'm entitled to it, dosen't mean I'm right. Clear enough? All aside, keep it up and thanks.

Hey EmuKid, Thanks for all your hard work on Wii64! The prior updates have been hella fun! I saw that you recently posted that Wii64 is progressing and your team is going to try and release something "soon", which sounds amazing. Definitely looking forward to it. I was wondering if you could give us an update on PS364, as it's almost been a year since you first announced the project. The ps3 emulation scene has gotten pretty beat as of late and this would add a much needed breath of fresh air to the scene! Is the focus going to be shifted to getting a PS364 port once the new Wii64 version is released? Thanks!

Emu_kidid, can you please provide an update to PS364? The PS3 emulator scene is basically dead (with the exception of the awesome work by Twinaphex!). If you can't find time to work on it, you should enlist the help of Twinaphex (the dude doesn't seem to sleep, haha). He posted a while back on emulatemii, saying he wanted to help:

No update on PS364 on its on the one year anniversary of the project's announcement? Wow, I never thought I'd say this, I'm starting to believe that this project has been abandoned

PPL Should try extrems mods... They improve the textures, but compatibility stays equal.
