I will have to test this out. Wish Yoshi's Island didn't have any slowdowns :/

i pretty sure yoshi's island slows down because it has to emulate the super fx chip.
do you have the same problem with starwing/starfox?

Yeah I thought so, thanks! Just wondering if it's ever going to be close to full speed on the gamecube. I haven't actually played Starfox

Well who cares Starfox sucks, anyway.
I tried Yoshi's Island on SNES9xGx too but were okay. Playable but if you playd the original on SNES you'll never want to play it in an emulator, because that game is never perfect. The reaction for pressing buttons is always a bit laggy and you'll fall down or touch enemies...
So I'll just play it on original hardware :D

Yeah, I agree. Actually have 3 carts of Yoshi's Island. Nothing beats playing it on SNES

These are great. I always had lag with Super Mario NES and Street Fighter II SNES. None anymore or at least not noticeable. Thanks!

Snes9x Next on RetroArch Wii doesn't have slowdown on the aforementioned games.

I played Yoshi's Island just fine on my Pentium II 233 Mhz. Why would it have slowdown on the faster Gamecube?

I know, but I think the Gamecube is generally more capable than my old computer.
