Max laziness?

Post by Air Conditioner » Sun Jun 09, 2013 1:13 am

So instead of being productive and working on my GCp and instead watching SS's sexy 2 hour livestream, I had an idea for me and my lazy self. It has been proven by previously stated sexy SS that Qoob Pro's work in harmony with a WKF. So if I have an autobooting swiss WKF and a Qoob Pro hooked up to my gamecube could I use the boot to directly to disk feature of the Qoob and boot directly to Swiss without having to go to the menu and choose the Swiss for GC and press start? If so, I'll be including a Qoob Pro in my portable...

not sure if i understand what you are trying to accomplish....

for a portable, you should use WKF: ON in the configuration menu
..but....WKF:ON means the Qoob will detect the WKF as an incompatible disc drive and it will never work together...

If you use WKF: OFF then the Qoob will not detected the WKF...
but...if you use the Qoob's ability to directly boot, then whats the point in having a Qoob to begin with when the WKF will autoboot with swiss??

The autoboot WKF I got from you makes me select the WKF from the normal GC menu. It dosn't make me use a button but I still have to go through the GC menu. I wanted to not have to do that.

that is still under investigation...
it appears to be related to SD card compatibility which causes autoload not autoboot....
try different SD cards and see if one allows autoboot...

Edit: Nvmd. Found 3 working GC's on eBay for 30$ shipped. I just use one of those.
