Exception DSI Error

Post by digidestined420 » Tue Nov 02, 2010 6:57 pm

I just installed homebrew on my wii using the latest dutsonentertainment video on youtube, I added Wii64 on it and have had no problems what so ever, But this morning I installed WiiSX onto my wii.
I have the bios and everything else needed in the correct folders, I know this because I have checked many websites and they all say the same thing, however everytime I have tried to play Digimon World 1 WiiSX crashes and shows an exception dsi error along with lots of other text. anyone know what the dealio is? Thank you for helping out

Could just be that this game is not supported, there are thousands of games in the PSX library so it's hard to find time to test them all. Do you know if others have reported it as working on a compatibility list someplace?

Are any other games working ok for you?

Sometimes this happens to me...... some games aren't supported just like emukidid said, and some are supported but just have minor problems. Remember this:  Wiisx is still in a beta stage, so it might have bugs or errors.

Sorry for late reply, havent been able to get on the computer. I read wiisx compatibility lists and all have said digimon world 1 works. I downloaded 2 different isos for digimon world 1, 1 was .bin but i deleted the other one before which also did not work. could i just be using the wrong type of isos?

All games aren't supported so remember that wiisx is still in a beta stage.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but i am currently having the same problem as OP.

OP, did you ever resolve this? RE3, Crash Bandicoot 3, Tomb Raider 1 all did the same thing to me.
I have everything in its correct folder, bios file in bios folder, isos in wiisx/isos folder. And the boot.dol etc
in the root of my SD card. The ISOs come from a reputable website and is their most "visited" ISOs on the website.

Using bin/cue, and everything works perfectly up until actual gameplay starts.

Did you ever find a solution? Thanks

RE3 is protected as is Crash I think dunno about Tomb Raider, you'll need to patch them with a ppf patch or wait until the emulator supports subchannel data.
