As it's said in the subject, did anyone tried it?
In my case, I've tried 2 brand new Saitek Gamma gamepads, and I had two Wii consoles. They simply don't work or I'm doing something wrong(like what?). In one Wii I found it hard to unplug the gamepad from the Wii's gamecube gamepad socket, but finally worked that out.
Still, they seem like they got no "power" from the Wii - when I plug them to GC one of the LEDs goes on.
Anyone knows any solution for this problem, or maybe these gamepads are Gamecube only?

Re: Saitek Gamma GC gamepad and Wii (not working?)
Guess what, I've got some time so I mailed Saitek support(actually it's Mad Catz support but anyway).
They asked me for gamepad photos. I've just sent them to the support team.
First of all I expected something like "These gamepads don't work with Wii man", so it's a nice surprise.
Will let you know what they answer.

Re: Saitek Gamma GC gamepad and Wii (not working?)
The gamepad still doesn't work but hmm, that's what Saitek/Mad Catz answered me in conclusion:
"(...)The only information i received is that it should work with Wii, but not with WiiU.(...)"
Guess the case is closed - if anyone finds any way to run it on Wii please let me know here or on PM.

Re: Saitek Gamma GC gamepad and Wii (not working?)
Got cheap GC gamepad cable extender from China just to test it.
Did it as I thought that original gamepads had a little longer "plug" that goes into gamepad socket. I just hoped that about 1£ cable extender will have longer "plug" - and it did, about 2mm longer than Saitek Gamma did.
Still, it's not working on Wii, no reaction(playing on it on GC so it's working).
Guess topic is closed.
