Amazing codes.

Just wondering though, are they also available for NTSC?

All codes for NfS Underground, Underground 2 and Most Wanted which modify the Arena-Lo memory area should be region free.

NfS Arena-Lo memory areas:

Underground 1: 0x80000000 - 0x803D0000
Underground 2: 0x80000000 - 0x80480000
Most Wanted : 0x80000000 - 0x80510000

Your US NfS MW codes (Idiot AI, Can't Be Busted, Crazy Traffic etc.) working also fine on the PAL version, btw.

Working great, have you thought about Carbon?

This game is the hardest of all NFS games I've hacked, that goes for the PS2 version too.

If I may ask, what value did you find to disable traffic, was it floating point?

This something I have been trying to make for the PS2 version for a long time. But no success unfortunately.

The amount of traffic is calculated by a function starting at address 0x800055A8 in memory. The return value of this traffic function is a single precision floating point number between 0.0 and 1.0 in register f1. My Traffic Modifier code replaces the traffic function with a few ASM instructions which loading reg f1 with the FP value stored at address 0x80003490:

Code: Select all

040055A8 3D208000 ; lis r9,0x8000
040055AC C0293490 ; lfs f1,0x3490(r9)
040055B0 4E800020 ; blr
04003490 xxxxxxxx

I don't know if the PS2 version has a similar traffic function or not, but the GC traffic routine use a couple of floating point constants:

Code: Select all

803C8FC0: 3E000000 BF000000 3F000000 00000000
803C8FD0: 3F800000 00000000 43300000 80000000
803C8FE0: 3C23D70A 3F800000 3F400000 00000000
and the "unique" FP constant at address 0x803C8FE0 seems to be a good starting point.

Hi Ralf, thanks for all these codes. I was looking on the internet for the code camera debug, or free camera for this version of gamecube, but without success. Do you know if it is possible in the gamecube version?

Unfortunately the "Infinite Money"does not work on the Swiss. I thought it was a Slot related problem but in Dolphin the code worked on all. 47iscool did the "No Cash Deducted When Buying Cars/Parts" for the carbon that works. I think he must have tried for this game and was unsuccessful. Could you try? I don't think I'll need to convert to NTSC. Thanks.

Thanks. This address needs a joker address because it also prevents the value of money from increasing. I use it like this:

2AXXXXXX 00000100

E2000002 80008000
28XXXXXX 00000100
