It is very promising for early release.
Is there a way to enable Mother 3 compatibility for the GC?

Yes, with a memory-mapped file.

Thanks for the reply, sorry I didn't see it until now.

How would I do that? I tired looking online but I guess I'm not really sure what I'm looking for.

You can't, because the enhanced parts of emGBA are not open source.

I really want to see a multiplayer mode with the GBI so I can play with my siblings. Or you could use a GC-GBA link cable to help out with that too

It's not possible without game-specific patches. Your siblings would need flash carts.

Oh ok. What about those games that will only need one cartridge? Will that work?

Thank you very much for this emulator. It works great!

The only thing I notice is that the C and Z buttons of the nunchuk (original control) do not work even if they are reassigned. For example, in Wiimednafen this does not happen when playing gba games and these buttons work correctly.

Except for that detail, this version of mgba is the best way to emulate the gameboy advance in wii. Thanks again for your effort and share it.

Very nice emulator, only thing I can really complain about is that Mother 3 (and I assume other 32MB roms) don't work which kinda sucks, but other than that, emulation is smooth and there are a ton of options

From my experience Enchanced mGBA is still better than the latest VBA GX release. Especially when it comes to the framerate.

Hello there! Just wondering if there's a possibility of this getting an update on par with the newest version of mGBA? Since the Wii is getting a rainstorm of new emulator releases, maybe my favourite GBA emulator could get some love as well XD. Not sure if the changes on the basis for this were big enough to justify, but I was just wondering, really. Thanks in advance!

There's definitely a possibility, I just need to get around to it.

Thanks for answering! It's just that I got the latest version o VBA GX and realized that I didn't like it because I had to give a full press on the triggers of my GC controller for them to register XD. Also input lag, which seems to be higher there. EmGBA just got the small things right in my opinion (triggers, 240p, input lag, and some others), that's why I love it!

That's odd, my triple buffering setup should have higher latency.

Well, maybe it's just a "placebo" feeling, I don't know XD. Or maybe the correct aspect ratio thing, since I did notice that the pixel perfect mode on VBA GX (playing in 240p) makes the rectangle on the middle of the screen slightly slimmer than on EmGBA, which fills more of the horizontal space of my TV. Like playing a SNES game fully stretched on a 16:9 LCD, then realizing you can set it to 4:3, will have the game suddenly feel "less responsive". Same applies on "8:7 vs. 4:3", seems like the slightly fatter characters on 4:3 run faster XD. Maybe it's just me that perceives such things XDXD.

At last, this project has been resynchronized with the latest Game Boy Interface and mGBA.

That's great! I'll give it a go later on, and try to finally beat Sword of Mana!

Thanks for this latest version. Finally an emulator with cheat support in the GameCube. The codes can not be turned on or off at any time. But the joker command in GBA helps solve this.

The Windows version has the lockAspectRatio = 0 option that removes black bars from Gameboy games. Is it possible to implement this function in a future release? Thank you.
