Depends on what game named Guardians are you referring to? All I could find for that name when searching "Guardians video game" was this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guardians_(video_game)
-------
1 x GameCube DOL-001 + Game Boy Player + GCHD Mk II + Xen8GC & SD Gecko + Everdrive GBA X5
1 x AGS-101 GBA SP (Graphite)
1 x AGS-101 GBA SP (No LCD + 3rd Party Shell)
2 x AGS-001 (Flame Red/Platinum)

It seems to be an arcade game.

Here is a compatibility list of arcade games with the retroarch 1.0.0.2 cores

Retroarch 1.0.0.2 for gamecube :

EDIT : The retroarch link was a bad one. Scroll down on the website until you find the good version

Thank you so much! I've checked the compatibility list you provided, it says :too big, so it seemed not to be played on Gamecube, right?

Its full name is Guardians/Denjin Makai II, it's a arcade game made by Japanese.

It appears that only MAME can emulate this, though I could be wrong as I never really have dealt with MAME or arcade roms. Unfortunately the stable build of RetroArch for GC does not include MAME, perhaps try a nightly? If it isn't there then I don't think the GC can run it at least not without a MAME emulator.
