BBA Trouble

Post by Cuddles » Tue Apr 21, 2020 5:46 am

I am having a bit of trouble getting my BBA to connect to my network for FTP. Sadly I couldn't find any sort of tutorial on the wiki

Some information on what I am using.

DOL-001
BBA (Displaying an IP so it should be working)
GB Player
Booting Swiss 813 off memory card with save exploit
Swiss Rev 0.5 827 off SD2SP2

Do I need to host a FTP server on my PC or can I simply use something like FileZilla Client?

I am pretty sure I am entering everything right as far as IP, ports and passwords.

Just a quick edit. I was able to back up a disk via gcom24 so my BBA is differently working still.

Swiss only implements an FTP client. A client can only connect to a server.

Ah alright. I though it was set up the other way.

I have smallftpd running and I can see my GameCube trying to log in but I am unable to browse the directory I have shared over FTP. When I launch FTP on my GameCube it ask for me to select the device again.

Small edit. I've opened my ports, tried different servers including filezilla server, smallftpd and ftpdmin, and the one built into windows 10 without any luck

Another edit. After looking at the logs it seems the GameCube is connecting but getting stuck at the CWD / command

What I am getting is "CWD /
250 CWD command successful
Closing control connection"
