Wavebird repair

Post by vickdu31 » Mon Jul 06, 2020 7:09 am

Hello,

I have a original wavebird that broke about 10 years ago. Nothing really happened to it but the orange light just doesnt turn on anymore.
There is no visible damage anywhere on the motherboard.

I have seen a few discussions on reddit regarding repairs and some people suggesting that it is a fuse issue and they made a short somewhere and the controller started working again.
The thing is that they did not really provide information on which pin to short.

Does anyone know which pin should be shorted in order to make it work again?

Do we have a detailed plan of the motherboard somewhere?

Thanks!
