Peculular effects loading from HDD in swiss on wii!

Seems that some of the games I play (any that have an easter egg based on New Years) have the effects present as though it were new years. Is that normal for Wii? Or is this just an odd side effect of the loader?

What's the date for savegames Swiss creates? It could be that the code to set the date is wrong or missing.

I suspect it's likely a side effect of Swiss or the MIOS I'm using as I haven't tried this game on disc yet to confirm if it's swiss or not.... I'll burn a disc as soon as I get a chance. I don't have a burner here....

Is what NeoGamma does. Well i think that's all, i remember that i had to correct WiiGator's code that did it, but just one line appears to be odd.

that's interesting.. I don't mess with the time at all apart from reading it. If someone can confirm this bug I'll gladly patch it.

Important would be a report from somebody running Swiss on a gamecube. Just check which date the created save games have.
