Strange gba sp issue

So this is a brief but weird one, I have an old gpa sp that I got way back when it launched. Worked fine up until recently, when I encountered this weird issue with the power switch. Any light tap or bump on the switch will turn it off, replacing the switch off another gba sp I have didnt fix it so I put the original back on. Anyone know what could be causing this? Really annoying trying to play a game and accidentally turning off the gameboy

I don't wanna take my GBA apart to see, but it sounds like something internal is worn out. That switch is supposed to be snug in the on or off position and give you resistance against flipping it.
